Non-profit selling organizations previously involved include schools, various youth organizations and clubs, churches, and adult and family service groups.
Community minded businesses and merchants previously involved provide race prizes for the winning duck entries and cash donations to help offset operating costs in return for advertising on the entry form and other media.
The Kiwanis Club of Fremont provides high profile and extensive assistance to the non-profit organizations including development of major sponsors, event marketing and publicity, entry form printing, data management, and accounting for every non-profit selling organization, race day set-up, duck race supervision, and coordination of race prizes.
In prior years race prizes have included vehicles, trips, cash, services, and merchandise.
